Türkiye Üstün Zekalılar Yüksel Eğitim Vakfı (TÜZYEV), bilimin ve sanatın sınırlarını genişleten, özgürlükçü, toplumsal gelişime önderlik eden, akademik kadrosunun öğrencileriyle birlikte, öğrenme tutkusu etrafında buluştuğu, bütün akademik ve idari bileşenlerinin bu anlayışa kendilerini adadıkları uluslararası bir eğitim kurumu olma vizyonuyla kurulmuştur. Bu vizyonu desteklemek üzere 2006 yılında kurulan Üstün Zekalılar Eğitim Merkezi (ÜSTZEM) 2016 yılında vakfa dönüşerek TÜZYEV adını almıştır.

TÜZYEV, vakıf faaliyetlerinin yanı sıra 2011 yılında Mozaik Anaokulu olarak okul öncesi üstün potansiyelli öğrencilere eğitim veren Türkiye’deki ilk ve tek homojen okuldur. Türkiye’de üstün potansiyele sahip bireylerin eğitim ihtiyacı doğrultusunda Mozaik İlkokulu ve daha sonrasında Mozaik Ortaokulu olarak örgün eğitimlerine devam etmektedir. Örgün eğitimlerimizin çıkış noktası eğitim sistemini değiştirerek ulusal bazda örnek model oluşturmaktır. Yaptığımız çalışmaların sonucunda birçok kişi, kurumu eğiterek ülkede yaygınlık sağlanmıştır ve bu kurumlar vakfımızın örnek aldığı eğitim, isim ya da içeriklerini uygulamaktadır.

Büyük bir eğitim merkezi oluşturarak; okul öncesinden post doktora, Ar-Ge merkezleri dahil pek çok disiplinin bir arada işleyebildiği sistem geliştirmek, bu anlamda model oluşturup tüm ülkeye yaygınlık sağlamak ve üstün potansiyelli bireylerin tanımlanması, eğitimi, desteklenmesi ve hatta psikoloji dahil bu alanlarda ülkemizde kanun-yönetmelik oluşturabilmek için uygulama çalışmaları yapmak, projeler geliştirmek ve çalışmalara bizzat destek sağlamaktayız. Standart müfredatın dışında öğrencinin ilgi alanlarına hitap eden, içerik ve materyaller ile zengin bir eğitim ortamı sağlayarak öğrenmenin eğlenceli ve keyifli bir aktivite olduğunun önemini vurgulamaktayız.

Bireysel yetenek ve ilgi alanlarını geliştirmelerine yardımcı olarak potansiyelin beraberinde getirdiği özelliklere uygun etkinlikler çerçevesinde eğitim ve öğretim sunmaktayız.

Potansiyelleri birbirine paralel öğrencilerin dayanışma ve işbirliği halinde ortak paydadaki bir eğitim ortamında bulunmasına fırsat tanımaktayız. Öğrencinin günlük yaşamında karşılaştığı sorunlara yaratıcı çözümler üretme fırsatı sağlayarak özgüveni yüksek, yeteneklerinin farkında ve sorun çözme becerisi yüksek bireyler yetiştirmekteyiz.

Kuruluşumuzdan bu yana binlerce öğretmene en çağdaş yöntemlerle kendilerini geliştirmelerini sağlamak, bu alandaki yetkinliklerini artırmak, yapılan akademik çalışmalar ile alanda uluslararası düzeye ulaşmak ve tüm bunların doğrultusunda ülkemizdeki üstün yetenekli çocukların keşfedilerek çevre ve insanlığa duyarlı lider bireyler olarak yetişmelerini sağlamaktayız. Mottomuz Eğitmen Eğitimi ve Eğitmen Exchange Programı vb. alanlar yaratarak, istihdam sağlayarak, yüzlerce öğretmen ve psikologlara her yıl burslu eğitimler vererek yetkinlik kazanmalarına, işbaşı yapmalarına ve diğer okul ve kurumlara yerleşmelerine imkan sağlamaktayız. Ayrıca bakanlığa yazdığımız projeler sonucunda da uluslararası fon girişi sağlatmış bulunmaktayız.

En önemlisi bu alanda müfredat, materyal ve fasikül çalışmalarımızla okul öncesi ve ilkokul seviyesinde ilk defa Bütünsel Müfredatı çıkartarak uygulanmasını sürdürmekteyiz.

Kurs, atölye çalışmalarımız, bireysel destek paketlerimiz, öğrenci ve ailelerin ihtiyacı olan bireysel danışmanlık ve aile terapisi eğitim ve hizmetlerini de vermekteyiz.

Hali hazırda maddi imkansızlıklar nedeniyle eğitim ihtiyacını karşılayamayan birçok öğrencimize burs vermekteyiz.

University of Iowa / Belin-Blank ile Türkiye’den denklik kazanan ilk ve tek vakıf olarak öğrencilerimizin kabulünü aldık. Bu sayede öğrencilerimiz üniversitenin eleme sürecine tabi tutulmadan eğitime katılma hakkı kazanmaktadırlar.

Yurt dışında University of Georgia, University of Iowa / Belin-Blank, University of Stanford, University of Coe College ve Disney Youth Education Series ile işbirliği halinde Türkiye’deki üstün potansiyelli çocukların yaz okuluna kabul edilmelerini sağlamaktayız.

Ayrıca 2013 yılından bu yana University of Georgia The Torrance Center and International Gifted & Talented Education Center ve Scholastic Testing Service’in Türkiye’de Türkçe uygulamasının temsilcisi görevini üstlenmiş olup binlerce eğitmene sertifikasyon eğitimleri vererek Torrance’ın yaygınlaşması ve bilinirliğini arttırdık.

Ülkemizde ise İstanbul Üniversitesi, İstanbul Yıldız Teknik Üniversitesi, Özyeğin Üniversitesi, Yeditepe Üniversitesi, Balıkesir Necati Bey Eğitim Fakültesi işbirlikleri ile hafta sonu zenginleştirme ve yaz programları ile öğrencilerimizi desteklemekteyiz.

Yapmış olduğumuz tüm bu çalışmalar neticesinde ülkemizde çocuk üniversiteleri ve UP Programı kavramlarının oluşmasının temelini oluşturmaktayız.

Who are we?

The Yuksel Education Foundation of Gifted Children in Turkey (TUZYEV) was established with the vision of being an international educational institution that expands the boundaries ofscience and art, is liberal, leads social development, where its academic staff meets withstudents around a passion for learning, and where all its academic and administrative components are dedicated to this understanding. Established in 2006 to support this vision, the Gifted Children Education Center (USTZEM) became a foundation in 2016, and was renamed as TUZYEV. In addition to its foundational activities, TÜZYEV, as Mozaik Kindergarten in 2011, is the first and only homogeneous school in Turkey that provides education to pre-school students with high potential. In line with the educational needs of individuals with high potential in Turkey, we carry on with our educational endeavors as Mozaik Primary School and later as Mozaik Secondary School. The starting point of our formal education is to create an exemplary model on a national basis by changing the education system. As a result of our work, many people have trained the institution and become widespread in the country, and these institutions apply the education, name or content that our foundation takes as an example. Having formed a large training center and implementation studies in order to develop a system in which many disciplines, including pre-school and post-doctoral students, and R&D centers; can work together, to create a model in this sense and to spread throughout the country, and to define, train, support individuals with high potential, and even create laws and regulations in our country in these fields, including psychology. We make projects, develop projects and provide support to the studies. (Developing models) Apart from the standard curriculum, we emphasize the importance of learning as a fun and enjoyable activity by providing a rich educational environment with content and materials that appeal to students’ interests. Helping them develop their individual talents and interests, we offer instruction and training within the framework of activities suitable for the characteristics which they bring along with their potential. We provide the opportunity for students whose potentials are parallel to each other to be in a common educational environment in solidarity and cooperation.

We train individuals who are self-confident, aware of their abilities, and have high problem-solving skills by providing the opportunity to produce creative solutions to the problems faced by students in their daily lives. Since our establishment, we have been helping thousands of teachers to develop themselves with the most recent methods in order to foster their capabilities in this field, to reach the international level in the field with academic studies, and in line with all these, we have been helping gifted children in our country to be discovered and raised as leaders who are sensitive to the environment and humanity. Our motto is "Instructor Training" and "Trainer Exchange Program" etc. We provide opportunities for hundreds of teachers and psychologists to gain competence, start work and settle in other schools and institutions by creating areas, providing employment, and providing scholarships to hundreds of teachers and psychologists every year.

In addition, as a result of the projects we have been discussing with the ministry, we helped them get international funding. Most importantly, we continue to implement the "Holistic Curriculum" for the first time at the pre-school and primary school level with our curriculum, material and fascicle studies in this field. We also provide courses, workshops, individual support packages, individual counseling and family therapy training and services that students and families need. We currently provide scholarships to many students who cannot meet their educational needs due to financial difficulties. We received the acceptance of our students as the first and only foundation from Turkey to gain equivalence with the University of Iowa / Belin-Blank. In this way, our students gain the right to participate in education without being subjected to the university's elimination process. In cooperation with the University of Georgia, University of Iowa / Belin-Blank, University of Stanford, University of Coe College and Disney Youth Education Series, we ensure that gifted children in Turkey are admitted to the summer school. In addition, we have been the representative of the Turkish practice of the University of Georgia The Torrance Center and International Gifted & Talented Education Center and the Scholastic Testing Service since 2013, and we have increased the popularity and recognition of Torrance by providing certification trainings to thousands of instructors. In our country, we support our students with intensive study sessions on weekends and summer programs in cooperation with Istanbul Bilgi University, Istanbul University, Istanbul Yıldız Technical University, Özyeğin University, Yeditepe University, Balıkesir Necati Bey Education Faculty. As a result of our endeavors, we form the basis of the formation universities for children, and the concept of "UP Program" in our country.
